Our family medicine residency clinic is dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate healthcare for refugee populations from around the world. Here, residents gain valuable experience in international medicine, conducting refugee intake physicals and offering ongoing, culturally sensitive care tailored to the diverse needs of our patients. Our clinic partners closely with Catholic Charities, a dedicated organization that provides essential support for refugees integrating into the community. Catholic Charities aids in addressing various social determinants of health, including housing, employment, and language services, which are crucial as refugees establish their lives in Green Bay. This unique opportunity enables residents to develop essential skills in global health and cross-cultural communication, fostering a patient-centered approach that honors the rich histories and varied experiences of those we serve.

Our faculty physicians are trained in obstetric care and support patients from pregnancy planning through prenatal and postpartum care. Our resident physicians follow patients throughout pregnancy and participate in their deliveries alongside our OB/Gyn partners at St. Vincent Hospital. We also care for newborns after delivery and throughout childhood, providing continuity of care for the whole family across the lifespan.
