Here, residents gain valuable experience in international medicine, conducting refugee intake physicals and offering ongoing, culturally sensitive care tailored to the diverse needs of our patients. Our clinic partners closely with Catholic Charities, a dedicated organization that provides essential support for refugees integrating into the community. Catholic Charities aids in addressing various social determinants of health, including housing, employment, and language services, which are crucial as refugees establish their lives in Green Bay. This unique opportunity enables residents to develop essential skills in global health and cross-cultural communication, fostering a patient-centered approach that honors the rich histories and varied experiences of those we serve.

Maternity Care
Faculty physicians within our clinic are trained in obstetric care and are able to follow our patients from before pregnancy, throughout prenatal care including performing vaginal deliveries and postpartum care. We then also are able to care for the newborns after delivery and throughout their childhood optimizing continuity of care.
